NSD Summer Institute 2024

The purpose of this Professional Development session is to enhance elementary teachers' ability to teach decoding of multisyllabic words by deepening their understanding of foundational reading skills and word components. Teachers will learn and practice syllable division rules, develop effective decoding strategies, and recognize the importance of vocabulary in reading. Additionally, they will create differentiated strategies for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 students to support diverse learning needs.
