By the end of this learning opportunity, participants will…Content: I can use the Critical Data Matrix to distinguish between disability and language acquisition by analyzing data to look at exposure, experience, expectations and practice. Language: I can listen to an overview of the Critical Data Matrix process and discuss with colleagues (or reflect independently) on the importance of why we need to distinguish between disability and language acquisition. I can read and discuss scenarios with colleagues (or reflect independently) to distinguish between disability and language acquisition by analyzing data to look at exposure, experience, expectations and practice (LE³AP). I can read and listen about how to complete the NSD Data Collection form and the Critical Data Matrix form to distinguish between disability and language acquisition.
